PLAIN ENGLISH SUMMARY
(Not a legal substitute — read the full policy below)
Here’s what we do with your information in plain terms:
- We collect your name, address, and email when you place an order. We use it to fulfill your order. That’s it.
- We use advertising tags from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Pinterest on this site that track page visits and shopping behavior. This helps us measure and run ads. You can opt out (see Section 6).
- If you sign up for emails, we send you new product drops and occasional news. You can unsubscribe anytime. One click. No runaround.
- We share your shipping information with Printify, our production partner, to fulfill your order. We don’t sell your data for money.
- We use WooPayments to process payments. We never see or store your full card number. Our business banking is provided by Novo Platform Inc. through Middlesex Federal Savings, F.A., Member FDIC.
- We respect your data. We’re a small brand, not a data broker.
That’s the short version. The full policy is below.

Cookies and tracking: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 6 for full details.
Meta Pixel: We use the Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) on this website. The Pixel is a piece of code that tracks visitor behavior — pages visited, products viewed, items added to cart, purchases made. This data is sent to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and is used to:
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising
- Build custom audiences for ad targeting
- Show relevant ads to visitors and similar audiences
You can opt out of Meta’s use of your data for advertising purposes at: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences
Pinterest tag: We also use the Pinterest tag on this website. It collects similar information (pages visited, products viewed, items added to cart, purchases made), which is sent to Pinterest and used to measure and improve our Pinterest advertising. You can manage Pinterest ad personalization in your Pinterest account under Settings, then Privacy and data.
Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics: We use Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics, provided by Automattic, to count visits and understand how the store is used. These tools load a script from stats.wp.com.
Meta helper script: The Meta for WooCommerce plugin also loads a small helper script from unpkg.com (a public content delivery network) that supports Meta’s ad measurement.
Abandoned carts: If you begin checkout and enter your email address but do not complete your order, we may save your cart and the information you entered and send you a reminder email, with an option to unsubscribe.

4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do work with advertising partners (Meta and Pinterest), and some state privacy laws treat that kind of data sharing as “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 6.
We share your information with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to operate our business:
Printify — Production & Fulfillment Partner
What we share: Your name, shipping address, and order details. Why: Printify prints and ships your order. Without this information, your order cannot be fulfilled. Their privacy policy: https://printify.com/privacy-policy/
Novo Platform Inc. / Middlesex Federal Savings — Business Banking — Payment Processing
What we share: Business transaction data including payout records and sales totals processed through our payment systems.
Why: Novo provides our business checking account through its banking partner Middlesex Federal Savings, F.A., Member FDIC. WooPayments payment settlements are deposited into this account. Your personal payment information is not shared with Novo — only aggregate transaction settlement data flows between our payment processor and our bank account.
Their privacy policy: novo.co/legal/privacy
Middlesex Federal privacy policy: middlesexfederal.com
WooPayments — Payment Processing
What we share: Your payment details and order amount when you pay at checkout. Why: WooPayments (provided by Automattic and built in partnership with Stripe) processes payments on our behalf. Their privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/
MailerLite — Email Marketing
What we share: Your email address and subscription data if you opt in to marketing communications. Why: MailerLite sends our marketing emails and manages our subscriber list. Their privacy policy: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — Advertising
What we share: Behavioral data collected via the Meta Pixel (pages visited, products viewed, purchase events). We may also share customer email lists as “custom audiences” for advertising purposes — these are transmitted in hashed (scrambled) form. Why: To run targeted advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Their privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ Opt out: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences
Pinterest — Advertising
What we share: Behavioral data collected via the Pinterest tag (pages visited, products viewed, purchase events). Why: To measure and run advertising on Pinterest. Their privacy policy: https://policy.pinterest.com/en/privacy-policy Opt out: https://help.pinterest.com/article/your-privacy-and-data-settings
Google — Analytics and Search
What we share: Behavioral data via Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Why: To understand site traffic and search performance. Their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy Opt out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
WooCommerce / WordPress / Automattic
What we share: Site operation data — comments, user accounts, order data stored in our WooCommerce database, and visit statistics collected by Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics. Why: WooCommerce is the platform our store runs on. Their privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/
Hosting Provider
What we share: All website data is stored on servers provided by our hosting company. Why: Required to operate the website.
Law Enforcement / Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
5. PAYMENT SECURITY
We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
All payment processing is handled by WooPayments, which states that it is PCI DSS compliant as a Level 1 service provider.
When you enter card details at checkout, that information goes directly to the payment processor. We receive only a transaction confirmation and the last four digits of your card for reference.
6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES (OUR COOKIE POLICY)
What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies, such as tracking scripts (“tags”).
Your choices. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept All, Reject, or open Preferences. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Preferences button on every page. We remember your choice for 30 days in a cookie called wpconsent_preferences. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of Marketing cookies. When you reject Marketing, we stop loading the Meta and Pinterest tags in your browser.
Essential cookies (always on). These run the store: your cart and checkout session, security, payment fraud prevention (Stripe, for example __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid), comment forms, and your cookie choice.
Functional cookies. These remember display preferences and that you have already seen our email signup popup.
Statistics cookies. Google Analytics (for example _ga, which can last up to two years) and Jetpack/WooCommerce analytics tell us which pages are visited and how visitors find us.
Marketing cookies. The Meta Pixel (for example _fbp and _fbc, which can last up to 90 days) and the Pinterest tag (for example _pin_unauth and _derived_epik) help us measure and run ads.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality (e.g. your cart may not save between sessions).
For Meta ad tracking, opt out here: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences
For Pinterest ad personalization, see Settings, then Privacy and data, in your Pinterest account: https://help.pinterest.com/article/your-privacy-and-data-settings
For general opt-out of behavioral advertising: https://optout.aboutads.info/
7. EMAIL MARKETING
If you subscribe to our email list, we will send you:
- New product drop announcements (every Friday)
- Occasional brand news and updates
- Promotional offers
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email we send. Unsubscribing removes you from marketing emails only — transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) are sent regardless of marketing subscription status.
We use MailerLite to manage our email list. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
In compliance with CAN-SPAM:
We will honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
We will not use deceptive subject lines
We will clearly identify ourselves as the sender
We will include our contact information in every email
8. DATA RETENTION
Order data: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. This is a legal requirement, not a preference.
Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account at any time — see Section 9.
Email marketing data: Retained until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, your email is suppressed (kept on a “do not contact” list) rather than deleted, to prevent accidental re-subscription.
Contact form submissions: Retained for 2 years for customer service reference.
Analytics data: Retained per the policies of Google Analytics, Meta, and Pinterest — typically 14–26 months for behavioral data.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
All Users
Your Privacy Choices: opt out of sale or sharing

You can do this in any of three ways: (1) click “Your Privacy Choices” at the bottom of any page and turn off Marketing in Cookie Preferences; (2) turn on the Global Privacy Control setting in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out request; or (3) email support@pressuretestedco.com with the subject “Opt Out.” If you give us your email address this way, we will not include it in customer-list advertising audiences. You do not need to create an account or verify your identity to opt out.
You have the right to:
Access your data: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct your data: Request correction of inaccurate information. You can update most information directly in your account settings.
Delete your data: Request deletion of your personal data. Note: We are required to retain order and transaction data for legal and tax purposes — this data cannot be deleted on request but will not be used for marketing.
Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from email marketing at any time via the link in any email.
Opt out of Meta advertising tracking: Via Facebook ad preferences: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences
Opt out of Pinterest ad personalization: In your Pinterest account under Settings, then Privacy and data.

Right to delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to opt out of sale: We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws treat sharing data with advertising partners for targeted advertising as a “sale” or “sharing.” To opt out, see Section 6 or email us.

To exercise these rights: Email support@pressuretestedco.com Subject line: “California Privacy Request” We will respond within 45 days.
